Topical peer reviews are fully transparent and stakeholders’ engagement and the involvement of the civil society are ensured during the whole process.
The main process documents setting the scope, organisation and content of every review, namely the Terms of Reference and the Technical Specifications are published in this website and submitted to public consultations. In addition stakeholders, including the public, have the opportunity to pose written questions on the national assessment reports during the peer review process. Replies to such questions are posted under the country specific reports.
Furthermore, public meetings with stakeholders are organised at different steps of the review to announce the topic of the review, present the different participation opportunities, and to announce the outcomes of the peer review.
