This first topical peer review was fully transparent and stakeholders’ engagement and the involvement of the civil society were guaranteed during the whole process.
The main documents setting the scope, organisation and content of the review, namely the Terms of Reference and the Technical Specifications, were published (http://www.ensreg.eu/background) and submitted to public consultations. In addition, two public meetings were organised.
A specific webpage had been designed to collect the feedback from the general public and stakeholders on the national reports prepared by Member States and other participating countries. Another webpage had been designed to collect the questions from the peer reviewers. These two webpages were open for the submission of questions and comments on the national reports between 8 January and 28 February 2018.
