Peer Review of the Taiwan NPPs Stress Tests
The European Commission has been invited by the Taiwanese authorities to organize a peer review of the Stress Tests performed by the Taiwanese licensee and regulator for the Taiwanese nuclear power plants. For this purpose, the Commission assembled a team of experts from Commission services and ENSREG.
In preparation for the planned ENSREG peer review, comments or questions are invited from the public in the time between June 5th and August 5th 2013.
The basic document of the Stress Tests is the "Taiwan Stress Tests National Report for Nuclear Power Plants" May 28, 2013. The national report has been provided by the Taiwan regulatory body, as part of the stress tests program applied to Taiwan nuclear power plants in response to the Fukushima-Daiichi accident. The national report can be found at this link.
